Mindful Self-Compassion

Beginning Monday August 20th, 7:30-9:00 PM

Description: This group will meet once per week for 1 1/2 hours for 10 weeks. The group is devoted to the learning and practicing of mindfulness and the development of self-compassion. The group will have 3 parts: study and discussion of the book, the mindful path to self-compassion, by Christopher Germer, PhD., learning and practicing mindfulness and self-compassion skills, and the sharing of group members' experiences.

The group is facilitated by Stephen Emerson, LCSW, psychotherapist in private practice and long time mindfulness practitioner.
